Has anyone experienced this (except me)?
It seems that every time I get into a fight and I am focused on my opponent, my opponent seems to slow. I literally can see all the movements they make as if the fight was completely false (like a slow, gentle sparring match). I think the best way to say it is like watching someone do Tai Chi. Not only that, people have commented that I have the speed "of a Blackbelt", although I have not taken martial arts classes a day in my life. I only choose to fight when necessary for survival. Not only that, when I throw a hit, which always seems to be aimed at an area of "killing" (It's good that I can stop me, eh? Speaking of which, how is it possible that I can stop my body reflections of emergency?). I know that adrenaline affects the speed and strength, but can also affect visual perception as well? I've been curious about this phenomenon for quite a long time. Please say what is happening. At least I know that I am not crazy! Thanks for the tip sparring.
Many of the responses is reaction time. While this is part of the equation of adrenaline is another. Adrenaline literally supercharging system. You can move faster and stronger, you develop tunnel vision so that are less distracted by whatever it focuses on NO and much more. One of the changes brought on by the adrenaline neater is that really makes you think faster. Add this to take further reflections and increase your opponent and you get slower. As each brand will kill zone … I will consider that with a grain of salt. Being able to throw a hit is something you need to learn to not want Kayo only to those who still manages to surprise. Of course, our instincts can be suppressed, no would be nothing more than animals if we could not. A lot of martial arts training is learning to control the fight of flight "or freeze" responses that come naturally. In addition to the controls, we work to reprogram our natural instincts of the fight with martial movements, whether strikes, throws, locks, whatever. If you want to train then the best teacher in your area and start of school. You'll learn a lot with a great teacher and this is more important than style. You will have access to much better sparring opponents (never spar with your friends unless all the training) to be able to push to higher levels training. Good luck.
