Blood and Bone (2009)
Although Michael Jai White has acted in more than two decades, never really went out of his way at the forefront of the action star. If SPAWN in 1997, must fight their way to put the spotlight. The film did not come with a PG-13 and was a little, perhaps, what he had expected. White the opportunity to shine with a lot of mixed reviews, with some very negative reception.
Fast-forward to 2009 and older, more mature is a co-producer and a white star of an action film titled urban Tournament target = "_blank" title = "Blood and Bone"> blood and bone. The main roles Nona Gay and Julian Sands, with several MMA fighters in cameos.
History concise, without such restrictions is developed with the character of white bone, sent by prison thugs to get him, including MMA star Kimbo Slice. Fighting in this opening sequence is brutal, but obviously, crisp and well planned.
After he is released from jail, West is a place to stay with Tamara, Nona Gaye character. Things are not what they seem. He is with her, would be at home for a reason, and noted that an important step to spoil the plot.
To be a work of Gaye is decent, but have more excitement in this paper.
West meet soon for a developer petty street fight Pinball call, played with the intensity of Dante Basco jealous. He is best known for his voice work. Bone begins to struggle for money and Pinball as its sponsor, intend to pay for more days. But the real reason why he is fighting, has not been revealed.
Until then, the film plays like a movie action with the right plot development recently, but it's really interesting with the introduction of a more promoter named James (Eamonn Walker of Oz).
Walker, mixed with a wide range of humor and brutality, sophistication in some twisted and even Genghis Khan. His character is the control over much of street fighting and approach of a bone to pay big day, after beating one of his greatest supporters.
The presence of guests like Kimbo Slice and Gina Carano to jail street fighting action is pretty fun to watch. Gina could do in the movies. Seems to have a relaxed delivery and spoke in a clear voice. Kimbo Slice, although not a method acting training the role of bad boy of fear, very good. Several other MMA fighters and trained martial artists like Bob Sapp, Xingu Rodil, Michelle Lee, and also Kumiko Nagano is filled in this production. This film is highly recommended for fans of MMA, however, fans of any form of martial arts.
The second half the film is full of action, fight sequences a bit more, and a relatively stable expression, which finally can see why Bone fights. The action is with a variety of camera angles and no changes will be filmed so quickly that focuses on the movement is difficult. Fans of a right, not a child urban action film is like blood and bones.
Although the concept of conspiracy and history Twist action was the final resolution of the solved very quickly and seemed to simplify a little. Michael Jai White works is very simple, especially at the end when the story takes a sense of sweetness. Their struggle is exceptional, however. To use a reference value in ECW, was "rough, buff, ripped and jacked up! Has an extensive training course for the role and it shows in the intensity of his courageous struggle. At 41 years, looks to be in peak fitness and is faster than it was in the 90s.
The Franklin McVeigh last boss (played by Julian Sands), is the silence behind the violence. However, it is never given enough screen time, and if it obstructs lack of funds or the action, never enough in the film. It's really in the blood and bones is necessary. Once the boss is not a combatant is in order if he do something, especially as part of the complex plot. That this part of the film was a fairly blatant libel in what would be the production of four or five stars.
More information about the blood and bone can be found all around the net.

Martial Arts Collection: 4 Film Favorites [2 Discs] – Widescreen Fullscreen $14.99 Includes:Bloodsport (1986), MPAA Rating: R Showdown in Little Tokyo (1991), MPAA Rating: R Rumble in the Bronx (1995), MPAA Rating: R The Corruptor (1999), MPAA Rating: R Bloodsport Jean-Claude Van Damme makes his starring debut in the aptly titled Bloodsport. An American soldier at large in Hong Kong, Van Damme becomes involved in the Kumite (also spelled Kumatai), a highly illegal kickboxing competition. Whoever survives the bout will be crowned Kumite champion of the world-a title that has plenty of challengers with homicide in their hearts. The finale offers a duel to the death (or near-death) between Van Damme and reigning Kumite king Bolo Yeung. The script is based on the real-life exploits of martial arts champ Frank Dux (who serves as the film’s fight coordinator). Denied such niceties as production values, Bloodsport scores big-time in the violent action department. A sequel followed in 1995, inventively titled Bloodsport 2. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi Showdown in Little Tokyo Director Mark L. Lester modeled this police action drama on the Hong Kong style, guaranteeing plenty of over-the-top action sequences. Dolph Lundgren stars as police detective Chris Kenner, an American raised in Japan. He is given a new partner, Johnny Murata (Brandon Lee, making his Hollywood debut), a Japanese raised in America. The two are made for each other — Chris doesn’t appreciate American culture, while Johnny doesn’t much like Japanese culture. One thing they both enjoy are the martial arts, of which they are experts. The two are assigned to L.A.’s Little Tokyo, trying to nab the notorious Yoshida (Carey-Hiroyuki Tagawa), a drug manufacturer using a local brewery as his distribution center. Yoshida, a member of the Yakuza, has brought the residents of Little Tokyo to their knees. But Chris has personal reasons for wanting to get Yoshida — as a child he witnessed Yoshida murdering his parents. When Yoshida rapes and kidnaps Minako (Tia Carrere), a beautiful lounge singer, it’s the last straw and Chris and Johnny set out for Yoshida’s heavily guarded home for a big showdown. ~ Paul Brenner, Rovi Rumble in the Bronx After years as a major star in most of the rest of the world, Jackie Chan finally broke through to stardom in the United States with Rumble in the Bronx, a dubbed and re-edited version of Hung Fan Kui. Here Chan plays Keung, a police officer from Hong Kong who travels to New York to attend the wedding of his uncle, Bill (Bill Tung). Bill has just sold his grocery store to Elaine (Anita Mui), and Keung finds Elaine to be a pretty good reason to extend his visit to New York. However, a mean-spirited and fashion-challenged street gang has moved into the neighborhood and is demanding protection money from the local storekeepers. Elaine is ready to sell the store and move on, but Keung is determined to show the toughs that he’s not about to be pushed around. Things get even more sticky when the hoods are on the trail of a lost cache of stolen jewels. ~ Mar |

Jet LI’S Fearless (Rated) (Unrated) - $17.99 Fearless opens in Shanghai, China, circa 1910, when wushu master Huo Yuanjia (martial arts superstar Jet Li) prepares to battle one Japanese opponent, Tanaka (Shidou Nakamura), and three American opponents (Anthony de Longis, Jean-Claude Leuyer, and Brandon Rhea) in a massive tournament. The picture then cuts back to Huo’s boyhood in the city of Tianjin, in North China, circa 1880, when his father forbids him from engaging in martial-arts training. He must therefore slip off and train covertly. Around 1900, Huo — then in his twenties — continues to fight in tournaments. His determination is such that his entire life begins to revolve around championships, and the prospect of becoming the top-ranked fighter in Tianjin turns into a die-hard obsession, despite the repeated warnings of his best friend, Nong (Dong Yong), to cut back. Huo ignores these admonitions, then turns conceited and ultimately refuses to hear an additional word of caution, until his arrogance leads to the death of a fighter and Nong’s decision to abandon him as a friend. Driven into exile, Huo journeys to southeastern Asia, where he works alongside rice farmers and divests himself of conceit, then gently touches the spirit of a blind girl. When he finally returns to Tianjin, he has transformed, internally, into a different person altogether. A huge hit in Hong Kong when originally released into theaters in 2006, Fearless was often touted as Jet Li’s final film in the wushu school of martial arts. The picture is based on the real-life story of Huo Yuanjia, founder of the Jingwu school of martial arts. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi |

Standing in his way is a turf war, a family falling apart at the seams, and a bang-up, knock ‘em dead showdown with a powerful drug cartel and its chief hitman, Kruger (Bill Wallace). ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi Bloodfight Kickboxer Bolo Yeung is the star of Bloodfight.
